MADE Custom Build Spotlight: Terlingua Monstercross!

Michael Potter of BikeFlights contacted us to build out a truly amazing custom Terlingua Steel for this year’s MADE display.

By request, we added some tire clearance and fit 29x2.0” Continental Race Kings on this Terlingua! Still leaving room for a massive chainring, powermeter, and Cane Creek eeWing Titanium crankset.

Aero Gravel wheels via Industry Nine, “i9 has lots of exciting new things in the works, including some meaningful updates to the aero road lineup. The R50 is one example, optimized for both wider rubber and overall stability. Stay tuned for more in the near future.“ -all I can say for now on those!

The frame features a first-of-its-kind, Minutes to Midnight Blue to Whisky Bronze Fade colorway with Bronze Graphics.

Michael plans to use his Terlingua with both the Invert Gravel Suspension fork and the ENVE G series fork (for CX season).

That Bronze! The rear cog carrier, via Wheels MFG SOLO XD, makes for quick and easy SS cog changes. Michael also upgraded to the Titanium bolt hardware. We recommend this for singlespeed riders who frequently make cog size swaps and need to adjust the chain often. These bolts have deeper sockets for the Allen head wrench and resist stripping.

Force E1 brake levers for one finger braking and a handlebar that means business from Coefficient Cycling, the RR bar.

Of course, it all gets packed up in the reliable BBL box from Bike Flights. These boxes are made for multi-use and are super easy to pack your bike for a trip. We can ship your bike to you in one as well! All of our In-Route completes ship this way.

This year Andrew followed up on his 2024 Grand Loop Race where he set the single speed course record. For the 2025 race Andrew completed over 34472 ft of elevation over a 365mi course and earned himself a 3rd overall, 1st place singlespeed AND pretty much matched his course record from 2024! Does Andrew have this course pinned or is there more to squeeze out of his Sendero Ti SingleSpeed Ultra-Race Bike?!
